Welcome Roosevelt!

After weeks of waiting and multiple trips to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, the Fullers are pleased to welcome Theodore Roosevelt the rabbit to our family. Roose (pronounced "Rosie") is a year-old Dutch bunny who was quite the ladies man in the shelter. His name came from Susan, who suggested it when our appointment to pick him up was made for President's Day. Our first pet was a hamster named Augustus Caesar so it seemed fitting that the bunny should also be named after a historic leader.

Roose's quickly gotten used to his new surroundings and has really enjoyed hanging out in the family room watching the Olympics with us. He's a real love and doesn't seem to mind receiving multiple hugs and plenty of handling, something he's guaranteed to get in the Fuller house.
